3 Fun Mom and Daughter Moments

Mother’s Day is right around the corner! I love the week leading up to this special day because it’s filled with so many little celebrations of motherhood. In my opinion, every single day should be a day celebrating parents and families across the world! It got me thinking about the various moments and traditions I’ve been building with my own little one. These are activities Zoe and I enjoy doing together and I wanted to share them with you! Today, I’m bringing you 3 Fun Mom and Daughter Moments!

+ Perfume for Mini and Me

Zoe watches me get ready for various work things. A lot! She took such an interest in my perfumes that I began to give her a little spritz on her wrist. I thought it would be a good opportunity to teach her about scents and appreciating all the senses she has. It’s such a special mom and daughter moment that we share on a (almost) daily basis. I picked this gorgeous floral scent called Amazing Grace by Philosophy off Stage’s big selection of perfumes! It’s a travel size so it’s the perfect little square bottle for Zoe to hold herself. I really cherish this mommy and daughter activity!

+ Arts & Crafts

Now that Zoe is 2, she’s beginning to develop a love and understanding for arts and crafts. I always make sure everything is washable (of course!) and despite our apartment being carpeted, I still really want her to be immersed in that whole world of imagination. Stage have a really awesome variety of all things arts and crafts! This cute tabletop paper center by Guidecraft was the perfect choice for the smaller tables we have here in our home. The 4 suction cups on the bottom keep it nice and still and the paper rolls through smoothly! It’s super easy to cut as well when your little one is done making their masterpiece! This is something I also really enjoy because I get to be creative along with my daughter in this activity.

+ Baking

I’ve made a point of baking every week with Zoe. Not only do I love trying new things out but I want to show her that simple and delicious things can be whipped up quickly with just a few ingredients! Every Sunday we have a family tradition of french crêpes! I was in desperate need of a new electric hand mixer and I found the perfect little 5-Speed Hand Mixer by Kitchen Aid on Stage! I’m in baking heaven and this is such an easy activity to cultivate with your child!
