It’s 2020 and apparently the middle of Winter!? If you live in Southern California, you’ll have noticed the endless good weather. Obviously, it calls for sweet combos like mini dresses and boots! Winter is tough to dress for. It’s not easy to be elegant and glam most days, right? So it’s so much fun to figure out a winter outfit on a budget. I have a hard time getting my outfits to be cute. But so many of my pieces are hand-me-downs from friends, closet exchanges or just amazing finds at discount prices! The dress is H&M and it arrived in my closet by way of a giant trash bag that had piles of my friends clothes inside! It’s petite and adorable with its polka dot design. I paired it with a chill beanie from Forever 21 for a little texture and fun color. On my feet, I’ve got my faux leather knee-high boots on (a Marshalls or Ross score!) and a big smile to match!

You can pair this outfit with so many things – from a short crop denim jacket to a chunky, oversized sweater. I just wanted an easy layer since the sun was out. This cozy coat feels more like you’re wondering around town in a chic robe. It also arrived in said magical trash bag filled with clothes so I’m going to say it’s from somewhere like Target!? It’s got a sweet faux fur lining from the collar to the navel which gives it a more chic, put together style. It’s cuddly and warm and just the perfect layering piece for warm winter weather!
